Job Summary

SealPros is a leader in the Asphalt Paving and Maintenance industry.  Asphalt Paving Operators are essential to our Asphalt Paving Crew. This position requires a person who is able to work with other co-workers and managers in a team environment. Safely operate heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in road, site or highway construction and paving. The operator will be responsible for a safe work environment for themselves and co-workers (constant eye contact will be maintained when backing, communicating using hand signals or other movements). Report any problems to manager. Follow directions from supervisor as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific job site/project. Perform minor servicing/maintenance of equipment. Perform general physical labor and assist in training less-experienced employees. This position reports to the Paving Foreman.

• Operate a steel faced roller
• Operate Asphalt Paver
• Operate an Asphalt Screed
• Operate an oil distributor truck
• Operate Commercial Vehicles
• Must be able to read and understand construction plans
• May occasionally be assigned to other responsibilities
• Maintain accurate timecards and paperwork

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in asphalt paving
• Valid Driver’s license - Class A or B CDL preferred, or we will help you get it!
• Reliable transportation to and from work

• Able to work overtime
• Must be dependable, with minimal time off

• Maintain accurate timecards and job paperwork
• Maintain a strict attitude towards safety and company policy
• Some heavy lifting - minimum of 50lbs
